And the winner of the December photo contest is………..Clyde!! All entries were amazing, but Clyde in his muscle shirt, well, that had us laughing! (Letitia we are emailing you now). Clyde we sincerely hope that you have a new sweater under the tree this Christmas.

Hi All,

I’m a volunteer for the French Bulldog Village. We’re working on creating a cookbook of dog treats ”The Art of French(ie) Cooking” to be available in November. Just in time for the Holidays! All proceeds will go to helping the foster Frenchies get the treatment they need before going to their forever homes.

If you have a dog treat that you’ve modified to make your own, please send it to: fbvcookbook@gmail.com. You will be credited in the book. If you have a photo of you and your pup that you would like to include we’d love that along with the recipe.

Lastly you don’t have to own a Frenchie to submit your treat recipe. Please reblog this around and lets get some submissions!

Like the Statue of Liberty, we watch over and welcome the wretched refuse of the French bulldog world. Dogs who’ve been thrown away, who’ve run away, who’ve wasted away. We find them, we love them, we fix them and we help them sail into a safe harbor of new families and their new lives of hope and opportunity.
Today, FBRN needs your help. Though we’ve stood as a beacon for Frenchies in need for ten years, FBRN has suffered from the recession with the rest of the country.
We can’t be there for new Frenchies unless we can build up our reserves. You can help by contributing to our chip-in fundraiser, and asking your friends to do the same. Please help us. We do good work. Be a part of it.
